Welcome to our Montrose, Alabama project, a stunning transformation that harmonizes coastal elegance with traditional charm. This home renovation included a thoughtfully expanded footprint of the home by adding 1,500 square feet. The renovations including adding a double dormer to the secondary bedrooms, a new hallway adjoins the existing home to a mud bench area with a playroom above. The mud bench transitions to a detached two-car garage. The backyard features a saltwater pool, a detached outdoor kitchen and a sprawling screened in porch. The result of this homes compilation is a seamless blend of whites, textured fabrics, subtle wallpapers and finishes with blue and green undertones, reflecting the serene coastal vibe.

To bring the serene coastal vibe to life, we layered neutral tones and textures throughout the home. Soft whites, sandy beiges, and subtle grays create a calming backdrop, while natural textures like linen, rattan, and weathered wood add depth and interest. This thoughtful combination evokes the tranquility of the coast, making the home a true retreat.

Neutrals and Textures

Blending the breezy elegance of French coastal design with the timeless charm of traditional French interiors, the French Mix style creates a home that feels both refined and effortlessly inviting. Soft, airy hues of white, cream, and pale blue set the stage, complemented by weathered woods, natural linens, and woven textures that echo the serenity of the coast.

Classic architectural details—such as panel moldings, arched doorways, and graceful furniture silhouettes—bring a sense of history and sophistication.

A touch of glam elevates the space, with antique brass accents, gilded mirrors, and statement lighting adding just the right amount of polish. The result is a harmonious blend of relaxed elegance and understated luxury, where every detail is thoughtfully curated to create a home that is both timeless and welcoming
